Singapore mandates digital bunker notes

Singapore’s e-BDN mandate, supported by IMO recognition, is transforming bunkering workflows with greater transparency and compliance.

From 1 April 2025, Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) requires all bunker delivery notes to be issued electronically, following the IMO’s 2023 recognition of e-BDNs under MARPOL Annex VI. (imo.org)
