AdBlue & Urea services

PBT expands AdBlue / Urea supply solutions for the maritime industry.
As environmental regulations within the maritime industry continue to tighten, the demand for reliable emission-reduction solutions such as AdBlue and Urea is steadily increasing. Vessel operators are increasingly required to comply with stricter NOx emission limits, particularly within Emission Control Areas (ECAs), making efficient access to these products an important part of daily operations.
PBT is responding to this growing demand by further expanding its capabilities in the supply of AdBlue and UREA 40% (AUS40) solutions across its global network.
Whereas AdBlue (typically AUS32) is widely used in road transport applications, marine and industrial applications often require tailored Urea solutions such as AUS40, depending on engine configuration and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems onboard. This creates a need for flexible supply options, adapted to vessel schedules, port infrastructure, and operational planning.
Through its established network of trusted suppliers and logistical partners, PBT is able to support clients with Urea supply solutions in a wide range of ports worldwide. Depending on demand and operational feasibility, deliveries can be arranged in different quantities and configurations, ranging from smaller bulk deliveries to full truck loads and other logistical setups where required.
This flexibility allows vessel operators, technical managers, and procurement teams to better align their emission compliance requirements with operational efficiency, reducing downtime and ensuring continuity in port operations.
As the maritime industry continues its transition towards lower emissions and more sustainable operations, reliable access to compliant consumables such as AdBlue and Urea becomes an increasingly important part of the value chain. PBT remains committed to supporting its clients with practical, flexible, and dependable supply solutions tailored to the realities of global shipping.
